A light and refreshing pasta salad packed with colorful veggies, perfect for summer picnics and barbecues.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Short Pasta (your favorite variety)
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 cup Cucumber (diced)
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup Bell Pepper (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Black Olives (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Italian Dressing
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the short pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the veggies: While the pasta cools, chop the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and bell pepper. Slice the black olives.
  3. Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped vegetables, and sliced olives.
  4. Add dressing and seasoning: Pour in the Italian dressing and sprinkle the garlic powder over the salad. Toss everything together until well coated.
  5. Chill: For the best flavor, let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
