Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos

Crispy, spicy shrimp combined with fresh coleslaw, wrapped in warm tortillas for a delightful twist on traditional tacos.

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional)
  • 8 small tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions and cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha (if using), lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Toss the shrimp in the sauce until well coated.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Assemble tacos by placing shrimp and coleslaw mix in tortillas.
  5. Garnish with green onions and cilantro before serving.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, lightly bread the shrimp before cooking. You can adjust the sriracha for spice level. Corn tortillas are a gluten-free option.
