Cabbage and Carrot Salad

A fresh and crunchy Cabbage and Carrot Salad, perfect for summer barbecues and packed with essential vitamins.

Ingredients

  • 1 small head of green cabbage, shredded
  • 23 carrots, julienned
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded cabbage and julienned carrots in a large bowl.
  2. Mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth in another bowl.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, and toss well to combine.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

Serve chilled. Pairs well with grilled chicken, fish, or burgers. Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
