Cheesy Meatloaf Casserole

A comforting dish that combines the flavors of classic meatloaf with gooey melted cheese, perfect for family dinners.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Spread marinara sauce on top if using.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add your favorite herbs like parsley or Italian seasoning. You can customize the cheese and add veggies for variety.
