Creamy Dump and Go Crockpot Marry Me Chicken Bliss

A delightful slow cooker dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce with rich flavors from garlic and sun-dried tomatoes.

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts (fresh, boneless, skinless)
  • 1 cup chicken broth (low sodium recommended)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp oregano (dried)
  • 1 tsp thyme (dried)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp butter (for enriching the sauce)
  • Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season it generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Whisk together the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl until smooth.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the chicken.
  5. Scatter the sun-dried tomatoes on top.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 240-300 minutes or HIGH for 120-180 minutes.
  7. Stir in the butter about 30 minutes before serving to enrich and thicken the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle fresh basil or parsley over the top once done.
  9. Serve warm with rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or crusty bread.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
