Creamy Garlic Chicken with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

A delightful dish that combines the richness of cream with the tangy flavor of sun-dried tomatoes, perfect for impressing family and friends.

  • 3 lbs Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 bunch Basil, fresh
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Oregano, dried
  • 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 3/4 cup Chicken broth
  • Black pepper, freshly cracked to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated fresh

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and oregano to the skillet; sauté for 2 minutes.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, mixing until well combined.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and coat it with the sauce.
  9. Add fresh basil before serving.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh basil. Can serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
