Creamy Turkish Chicken

A delightful dish combining tender chicken with a rich, creamy sauce infused with spices, perfect for any meal.

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup Coconut milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Rice, pasta, or crusty bread (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until soft.
  3. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Add diced bell pepper and cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Pour in coconut milk or heavy cream, and season with spices, salt, and pepper.
  6. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
  7. Serve warm over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the chicken; it ensures the meat remains juicy. For added spice, consider a pinch of chili powder.
