Crockpot Shredded Chicken Tacos

Easy and flavorful shredded chicken tacos made in a slow cooker—perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Taco shells or tortillas
  • Toppings (lettuce, cheese, sour cream, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the chicken.
  3. Pour the salsa on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks.
  6. Serve in taco shells or tortillas and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftover shredded chicken in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months.
