Easy Chicken Dinner with Garlic and Mushrooms

A quick and flavorful chicken dish featuring garlic and mushrooms, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  3. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until mushrooms are golden and tender.
  5. Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  6. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet to coat with the sauce.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.

Notes

Pairs well with rice, pasta, or a simple side salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
