Garlic Parmesan Corn

A delightful summer dish combining the sweetness of fresh corn with savory garlic, butter, and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cobs Fresh Corn
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. Start by shucking the corn and removing all the silk. Rinse the cobs under cold water and then pat dry.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the corn cobs and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender.
  3. Once cooked, remove the corn from the pot and allow them to cool slightly. Cut the kernels off the cobs into a large bowl.
  4. In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  6. Add the cooked corn kernels to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle the corn with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Toss to coat and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding lemon zest or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving. You can customize the dish by adding bell peppers or bacon bits for variety.
