Caramel Apple Cake Pops

Delightful cake pops combining caramel and apple flavors in a fun, easy-to-eat form. Perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup of apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup of applesauce
  • 1/4 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • Chocolate melts or candy coating
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to the package instructions and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the diced apples, applesauce, and cream cheese until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the apple mixture to the crumbled cake until fully incorporated.
  5. Form small balls of the mixture and insert a popsicle stick into each one.
  6. Freeze the cake pops for about 60 minutes until firm.
  7. Melt the chocolate melts or candy coating according to package instructions.
  8. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
  9. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with optional sprinkles.
  10. Place the finished cake pops upright in a styrofoam block or in a mug to set. Enjoy!

Notes

Store cake pops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Can be frozen for a longer shelf life.
