Melt In Your Mouth Chicken Breast

A delicious and tender chicken dish with a creamy topping, perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (or plain Greek yogurt)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ¾ inch.
  4. Mix together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Spread this mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
  6. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle optional paprika or Italian seasoning on top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken or adding vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes. For a crispier topping, broil for a few minutes after baking.
