One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A delightful and flavorful one-pan meal featuring chicken breasts cooked with buttery egg noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
  6. Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
  7. Drain the noodles and return them to the skillet.
  8. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the noodles, stirring until the butter is melted and the garlic is fragrant.
  9. Slice the chicken and serve it on top of the buttered noodles, garnished with parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding some vegetables like peas or bell peppers when cooking the noodles.
