Tropical Mango Key Lime Pie

A delightful dessert that combines the sweet and tangy flavors of ripe mangoes and refreshing lime, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup ripe mangoes, pureed
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • Fresh mango slices and lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Let cool.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, mango puree, and lime zest until combined. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  3. Bake the pie for 15-20 minutes until set. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and spread it over the top of the pie.
  5. Garnish with mango slices and lime wedges.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator. It should last about 3-4 days.
