BLT Quiche

A delightful twist on the classic BLT sandwich, combining crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes in a savory egg custard. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.

  • 1 pie crust
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and bake for 10-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels, crumble.
  4. Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  5. Stir in the crumbled bacon, cherry tomatoes, and shredded lettuce.
  6. Pour the mixture into the pre-baked pie crust and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
