Key Lime Bars

Delicious and tangy Key Lime Bars with a creamy filling and crunchy graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup of fresh key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of lime zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the sugar, eggs, key lime juice, lime zest, and salt until smooth in another bowl.
  4. Pour the lime mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until set. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.

Notes

Serve chilled for the best experience. Use fresh key lime juice for improved flavor.
