One-Pan Cheeseburger Pie Dinner

A delicious and easy option for busy weeknights, combining the flavors of a cheeseburger in a simple, comforting pie.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pre-made pie crust or biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onions are soft.
  3. Combine the milk, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Place the cooked meat mixture in a greased pie dish.
  5. Pour the batter over the meat.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and then cover with the pie crust or biscuit dough.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the pie is set.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
