Peach Cobbler

A delightful and comforting dessert featuring fresh or frozen peaches with a warm, buttery topping, perfect for family gatherings.

  • 4 cups frozen peaches
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine frozen peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  3. Mix them well to coat the peaches.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Pour the batter on top of the peach mixture.
  7. Bake for 40-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

You can add a splash of vanilla extract for more flavor or sprinkle oats/nuts on top for a crunchy texture.
