Pineapple Chicken

A delicious blend of chicken, sweet pineapple, and colorful bell peppers, perfect for dinner or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the bell pepper and pineapple, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and cornstarch for 30 minutes before cooking. Use fresh pineapple for the best taste. You can add other vegetables like snap peas or carrots.
