Pioneer Woman Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches

  • 2 cups canned peaches (drained slightly)
  • 1/2 cup peach syrup (from can)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the flour, sugar, milk, melted butter, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  4. Scatter the drained peaches on top of the batter, then drizzle the peach syrup over everything. Do not stir.
  5. Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  6. Let the cobbler cool for a few minutes before serving.
