Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles

A quick and delicious meal combining garlic and honey, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 8 oz noodles (e.g., egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken strips and cook until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet with the chicken and sauce, and stir well to combine.
  7. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
